Description
Mikrotik CCR2004-16G-2S+ With Cooling Fan Cloud Core Router (No Passive Cooling)
This CCR, like the others in the CCR2004 series, is powered by the Annapurna Labs Alpine v2 CPU, which has 4x 64-bit ARMv8-A Cortex-A57 cores operating at 1,7GHz. But here’s the catch. This Mikrotik CCR2004-16G-2S+ router powerful router outperforms all previous CCR models in single-core performance, which is critical when it comes to intensive tasks dependent on per-connection processing. Better for the environment, better for the wallet, it’s a win-win situation. There are 18 wired ports on the new router, including 16x Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10G SFP+ cages. On the front panel, there is also an RJ-45 console port. This Mikrotik CCR2004-16G-2S+comes in a standard white 1U rackmount case, as do other CCR devices. There are built-in twin redundant power supply, so you have one less thing to worry about. There is also active cooling to keep things nice and cool. Each set of eight Gigabit Ethernet ports is linked to a different Marvell Amethyst family switch-chip. Each switch chip is linked to the CPU via a 10 Gbps full-duplex connection. The same is true for each SFP+ cage, which has its own 10 Gbps full-duplex connection. The boards include 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 128MB of NAND storage.
